سازمان عفو بین‌الملل در آخرین گزارش خود اعلام کرد بین روزهای ۲۵ تا ۲۸ آبان گذشته، دست‌کم ۳۰۴ تن در جریان اعتراض‌های اخیر در ایران کشته شده‌اند. این سازمان همچنین به نقل از منابع خود نوشت شماری از بازداشت‌شدگان اعتراض‌ها از سوی نیروهای امنیتی شکنجه شده‌اند و به آن‌ها شلاق زد‌ه‌اند.
این پنجمین گزارش عفوبین‌الملل در پیوند با اعتراض‌های آبان‌ماه در ایران است. این سازمان در آخرین گزارش خود شمار کشته شدگان اعتراض‌های آبان‌ماه را ۲۰۸ تن عنوان کرده بود.
عفو بین‌الملل در گزارشی که روز دوشنبه بیست‌وپنجم آذرماه منتشر کرد به نقل از منابع خود نوشت که صدها تن از معترضان پس از انتقال به زندان رجایی‌شهر، در استان البرز، از سوی نیروهای امنیتی بهطور روزانه مورد ضرب‌وشتم قرار گرفته‌اند.
به گفته عفو بین‌الملل، در میان هزاران تنی که از سوی نیروهای امنیتی ایران بازداشت شده‌اند، از جمله در زندان رجایی‌شهر کرج، شماری کودک و افراد ۱۵ ساله حضور دارند. سازمان عفو بین‌اللل خواهان آزادی فوری و بدون قید و شرط بازداشت‌شدگان شده است.
به گفته فیلیپ لوتر، مدیر تحقیقات بخش خاورمیانه و آفریقای شمالی عفو بین‌الملل، مقام‌های جمهوری اسلامی تقریبا بلافاصله پس از شروع اعتراض‌ها، دست به کشتار صدها تن از معترضان زدند و بعد از آن سعی کرده‌اند بهطور وسیعی با ایجاد رعب و وحشت، مانع خبررسانی و صحبت درباره آنچه رخ داده است بشوند.
به گفته مدیر تحقیقات بخش‌خاورمیانه و آفریقای شمالی عفو بین‌الملل، لازم است که جامعه بین‌المللی در قبال سرکوب و کشتار معترضان در ایران اقدام فوری کند. به گفته او «باید از طریق شورای حقوق بشر سازمان ملل متحد جلسه‌ای ویژه تشکیل شود.»
مدیر تحقیقات بخش‌خاورمیانه عفوبین‌الملل همچنین خواهان انجام تحقیق درباره مواردی از «ناپدیدشدگان اجباری» و گزارش‌هایی از «شکنجه» بازداشت‌شدگان شد.
اما مردم عزیز ایران، یادمان نرود که اگر ما حتی بخواهیم از حقوق بشر خدادادی خود دفاع کنیم هم باید این دفاع از خود را از راه های مسالمت آمیز انجام دهیم. راههایی مانند شرکت نکردن در انتخابات های رژیم، اعتصابات سراسری، نا فرمانی های مدنی و راهپیمایی های کاملا مسالمت آمیز برای بیان خواسته ها و اعتراضات خود. ما همه انسان هستیم و هرگز نباید به دنبال انتقام باشیم. دفاع شخصی مسالمیت آمیز و ضروری و واقعی درست و خوب است اما انتقام و خشونت و تنفر نباید در ما وجود داشته باشد. یادمان نرود بخشش بهتر از انتقام است و همه ما مخلوق های خداوند عزیز هستیم. ما کسانی که بر علیه ما ستم کرده و گناه کرده اند را میبخشیم تا خداوند عاشق و متعال نیز گناهان ما را ببخشد. ___________________________________________________________________________
