اما مردم عزیز ایران، یادمان نرود که اگر ما حتی بخواهیم از حقوق بشر خدادادی خود دفاع کنیم هم باید این دفاع از خود را از راه های مسالمت آمیز انجام دهیم. راههایی مانند شرکت نکردن در انتخابات های رژیم، اعتصابات سراسری، نا فرمانی های مدنی و راهپیمایی های کاملا مسالمت آمیز برای بیان خواسته ها و اعتراضات خود. ما همه انسان هستیم و هرگز نباید به دنبال انتقام باشیم. دفاع شخصی مسالمیت آمیز و ضروری و واقعی درست و خوب است اما انتقام و خشونت و تنفر نباید در ما وجود داشته باشد. یادمان نرود بخشش بهتر از انتقام است و همه ما مخلوق های خداوند عزیز هستیم. ما کسانی که بر علیه ما ستم کرده و گناه کرده اند را میبخشیم تا خداوند عاشق و متعال نیز گناهان ما را ببخشد.

Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe is an Iranian-British dual citizen who has been detained in Iran since 3 April 2016. In early September 2016, she was sentenced to five years imprisonment after being found guilty of "plotting to topple the Iranian government". She was temporarily released on 17 March 2020. Kate Allen, Director at Amnesty International UK, said: "This is such bittersweet news. After all Nazanin’s been through this feels like yet another example of the calculated cruelty of the Iranian authorities." Her husband Richard Ratcliffe has always made it clear that he feared the Iranian authorities might in some way block his wife’s release at the last moment despite her release is due. Nazanin must be freed completely immediately and permanently.
Hamed Ghara-Oghlani has been sentenced to prison only for the peaceful exercise of his rights related to freedom of expression and communication. Ahmad Reza Jalali, an Iranian-Swedish physician/doctor, is away from his family and under the shadow of execution for the sixth consecutive Nowruz. He was sentenced to death on the basis of "confessions" resulting from the torture, and his current detention conditions are also examples of torture. Authorities must stop his torture and execution plan and release him.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has many political prisoners and prisoners of conscience, and many human rights activists, Christian converts, religious minorities, political activists, journalists, and bloggers are imprisoned, many of whom are tortured and forced to confess to false and meaningless accusations. We are all human beings and we should never seek revenge. Peaceful and necessary and authentic self-defence is right and good, but revenge, violence and hatred should not be in us. Let us not forget that forgiveness is better than revenge and we are all creatures of loving God. We forgive those who trespass against us so that loving almighty God forgives us our trespasses.
